Oxymoron (from Germany) plays the modern form of street punk, but are one of the closest to the original UK Oi!/street punk genre of the late 70s and early 80s...Listen and you'll know what I mean...Street punk as it is today has become a very broad classification in the sense in encompasses everything from British sounding oi punk to American influenced Hardcore punk that happens to say "oi" a lot. The only unifying thing seems to be the "uniform". Fuck, I tend to fall off subject from time to time, but I'll get back to the point...The point is that Oxymoron kicks ass. They also do one of the most respectful Blitz covers I've heard. They didn't bastardize it like Rancid did with "Somebody's Gonna Die", but kept their version of "New Age" original, albeit with better recording quality. Enjoy!
