Include a link to your shit and don't be a fag, you fucking faggot. Eat a dick. Lick on these testicles. I wanna anally inseminate Miles Ellerbeck (this will probably be here a year or two before he sees it...Love you bro). Also open yourself up to constructive criticism. I'll bluntly tell you it sucks and give the world a link to see just how bad it sucks. I am mimicking the stream of conscious asshole blogger speech now. Fuck you and eat several more dicks.

My New Band! The Antioxys!

This is my new band, The Antioxys...We play street punk similar to the Casualties and what not. We've only had a handful of practices, but it's been coming together pretty well so far:

Malice Of Forethought-Demo

Ah...Malice Of Forethought, easily the best hardcore punk band in the entire Inland Empire. Highly political and musically technical, it sometimes borders on Crossover and Manny Of Forethought has an impressive vocal range similar (but not sounding at all like) to Jello Biafra. This is a very high quality recording for a demo that showcases the immense talent this band has.

I came to know of this band back in 2005 or 2006. I was at B&B's Cycles in Victorville and Manny was there and he solicited this demo to me...Honestly, when someone gives me a demo, it is usually nu-metal or some crappy Christian band, so I had my presumptions. I put it in the radio and discovered that this is some blazingly fast hardcore. A great live band they are as well...Ever see an obese man with a mohawk in a diaper? Well, that's what you get with MOFT...I fucking love this band! You should to!

From their Myspace:

ATTENTION BONEHEADED PARENTS, CHRISTIAN JIHADISTS, and FASCIST/SMOKING COPS: GO AHEAD AND email this page to Homeland Security so they can more properly monitor the wasteful and worthless activities of malice of forethought and all of our cohorts. BUT guess what!! WE AGREE WITH YOU NOW!!! Okay first of all, if you dare to disagree with President Bush, you are an enemy of the state. let us explain... george W. bush loves america and all humans he is a christian who follows all of God's commandments.. therefore it is obvious that YOU are an enemy of the state. and by "state" we mean "George bush, Pat Robertson and Co." do you find this funny? actually it is if you find it funny that San bernardino cops are investigating peaceful political and music show organizers. ah. ha. ha. ha. of course we also know that if you inform kids--especially a girl or females--about condoms or about how to keep from getting pregnant if they decide to have sex... GOOD LORD!! let's not even go there! Let us demonstrate how a wire hanger is valid God-approved form of birth control.. See? this way parents do not have to waste time teaching kids what priests should be teaching them. after all, what better way to learn about sex than from your local clergy in the the fellowship annex behind the folding tables and chairs?? NOthing beats it. well there you have it. that is why we are card-carrying die-hard members (and ultra supportive members, at that) of the Party of Bush/Cheney/Kerry/Daschle/Clinton. someday we will all look back on this and laugh. but not today. Now, on to less-important biz: NOT enough of you have requested a FREE CD!! what's up with that? help rid the world of evil by requesting your FREE malice of Forethought cd today! contact us today and we will mail it out tomorrow! Free! over 45 minutes of pro-unity, pro-freedom no-talent musical crap! We will play for free at all of your events, parties, conventions, rallies, church meetings...as long as the event is all-ages and is free to the public we will play for free. and if any of you bands want to do some shows with us and bypass all this "pay-to-play" crap--call us and we'll help set it up!! Malice of Forethought is totally anti-racist and pro-unity. to see what we are really all about come to our shows and then you will learn the truth: we totally suck! help us fight the good fight of zero-talent ear-punishment! and then Come to our shows and tell us how much we suck! Question: why are Cops so concerned that we give away our away our cds and political info to teenagers?? Hey, guess what? Call us for MORE free stuff! what'll they think of next, prison for gays and socialists??? To book us for shows call (760) 220-9590 or (909) 557-7982. yeah, we will play for free at all-ages, free shows! AND NOW!!! The Malice of Forethought experience invites you all to pray for Don Rumsfeld, that he will continue to do God's will: according to Rumsfeld, God's will must be to kill even more US soldiers and kill even more Iraqi civilians. HOW'S THAT FOR AMERICAN-STYLE PATRIOTISM! Yes, it is our constitutional right to be stupid and ignorant. GOD Bless American stupidity! Oh yeah, one more thing... MOFT encourages Respect for self and others, as well as Peace for all humanity. MOFT aggressively promotes Freedom, Equality, and Justice. MOFT is openly fomenting rebellion against hatred, ignorance, and violence. Oh, and they totally stink musically! So, if you really enjoy good music, you might NOT want to listen to their music. And, if you are a narrow-minded bigot, or if you have not yet learned to appreciate hardcore, intelligent (or even just plain stupid) satire, their message might just make you mad. Have a nice day...

Mike Ness

I am a huge Social Distortion fan. They have evolved from a great punk band into one of the best rock bands of all time. Every album they have released has been good in it's own right, some better than others, but all good nonetheless. They are also a great live band, even though tickets can cost upwards of 20 bucks...They always give the audience a career retrospective well worth the money...

These are Mike Ness's solo albums, both classics. He abandons the punk influences and plays in a roots-rock, country style that reminds me of the greats of the outlaw subgenre, like Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, or Hank Fucking Williams! This is some great stuff.

"Cheating At Solitaire" is mostly Ness' originals with some covers, while "Under The Influences" is an all-cover affair. All of his covers are very faithful to the originals...All the material he has ever released, in Social D, or by himself (fuck, even in Easter) command a listen...

Enjoy!

Mike Ness-Cheating At Solitaire:

1. "The Devil in Miss Jones" – 3:49

4-Skins-The Wonderful World Of The 4-Skins

I have a soft spot for English Oi! bands. I love the mid-tempo football chants. The Great Redneck Hope

This is some pretty fucked up screamo/grindcore/emoviolence from Colorado Springs, Colorado. I can dig it. It is highly chaotic, includes many tempo changes with irrelevant lyrics to go with it. I will call them the "emo" Anal Cunt...The main difference is that The Great Redneck Hope can actually play their music, and quite well I might add. They remind me a bit of Orchid, Burn Hollywood Burn, The Daughters, etc. Their music really does refuses classification (my attempts are misleading)...It actually tears musical classification into microscopic pieces, lights it on fire, implants it still burning into a street walker's ass and shits the steamy wreckage all over your chest. I really fucking like this shit...Check it out...

The Great Redneck Hope-Splosion!

1. hey goth girl, isn't it a little hot to be wearing pants?

Cyco Miko-Lost My Brain (Once Again)

This is Suicidal Tendencies' vocalist and only constant member, Mike Muir's solo project, Cyco Miko. This is nothing like either Suicidal's crossover, No Mercy's thrash metal, or Infectious Grooves' funkcore. This is basically catchy punk-rock. This is Suicidal minus much of the hardcore, the shouted vocals, and all the metal. Mike uses often sung vocals set to a melodic, but occasionally chaotic musical score. The opening track, "I Love Destruction" is especially catchy and is by far the best track on the album as the rest fail to live up to it. Overall, it is a worthy addition to anyone's collection. Check it out...

Hellfire Trigger-Two Albums

Hellfire Trigger are a defunct band from North County, San Diego and they played hardcore more along the lines of the middle era stuff. It is great, devoid of most metal, and has an obvious early influence. It's hard to group these guys fairly among newer hardcore bands and among older ones, they really have their own sound. It makes me happy. I saw these guys numerous times before and you should check out C.J.'s new band, Joyful Sounds (see below)...Here's HFT,

I don't have a track listing for this and the labels may be incorrect, but this is really good shit. I could describe their sound like this: Non-Swedish Swedish Hardcore Crust...Which means it will fucking turn your fucking testicles to a gelatinous ooze. Check it out:

Doom-Total Doom

Here is Doom, one of the greatest crust bands of all time. These crusty d-beat giants are gods of their genre and "Total Doom" is a collection of tracks off of their "Police Bastard" EP, "Warcrimes-Inhuman Beings" LP, and their side of the split, "Bury the Debt, Not The Dead". 37 tracks of heart pounding war beats and chaotic instrumentation make for some good times, even if the music has absolutely nothing to do with good times. Absolucion-Human Bonsai

I thought this was going to be a 7" when I bought it because it came in a record sleeve, but upon inspecting it more once I got home, I realized that it was a compact disc tucked in a record sleeve...I'll admit the only reason I bought it when I was at Dr. Strange Records was because it had "Cockzilla" on the front, but after giving it a listen, I came to realize it is amazingly brutal crust/grindcore and not just a novelty item (like Sodomized By Marcia Brady). The Crusties-The Only Band Worth Hating

There are two bands called The Crusties, one from Wisconsin, the other from Nanaimo, British Columbia. The is the latter.

There is a scarcity of information on this band on the web, the only information I could find is this. This is some crudely offensive punk rock and it is horribly recorded. They have nothing to do with Crust Punk, it's just a band name. This is the only release I know of, they probably disbanded. This was recorded and released in 2001. It is funny, offensive and a great listen, check it out:

Not Yours-This Is Ours...Not Yours

Not Yours is a hardcore band from Hesperia. To me, they sound like mid-era NYHC. There is a obvious metal influence, but it is not overly prevalent...It still sticks to the roots of hardcore and doesn't taint it with that metalcore shit. It reminds me of the Cro-Mags or Agnostic Front's "One Voice" album. It's not slow, but it's not fast. This band is not active anymore to my knowledge. There is another band, Blood Stands Still, which has members from Not Yours. I'm pretty sure that this is a demo, because it was free, but I'm not sure...Anyways, check it out:

From their Myspace:"There is not one answer for everybody. What is right for one may not be right for the next. This band serves no purpose other than to have a good time regardless of musical background. Take this as seriously as you want. Everything is fair game for ridicule."

Cross Examination-The Hung Jury

Cross Examination is what crossover should sound like: Equal parts Suicidal, DRI, Municipal, Cryptic, Slayer and all fucking attitude. This is one band not to be messed with. These guys hail from St. Louis, Missouri (Missouri has music?) and play some of the meanest music I've heard in a long fucking time.

I got this CD at an Extreme Noise Terror show at a Distro. that was set up by the merch tables. I saw the "for fans of" on the back and that was my motivation for picking it up. This is some great stuff here and it is chaos on the ears...Just like crossover should be. They do a damn good cover of Suicidal Tendencies' "I Shot Reagan", but their original tunes hold their own with the classics of crossover. Choice Tune-"P.A.C.P"

This album is entitled "Shit Talking And Mayhem" and is one of the best damn metal albums I've heard in a long ass time. They even throw on a sick Anthrax cover at the end. Check it out:

Disaster Strikes-Liberty Toast

Great fucking band. Highly-political hardcore from Boston. Fun for the whole family!

“Disaster Strikes = Municiple Waste + Dead Kennedys + I Object. Liberty Toast is pissed-off, politically-charged and, overall, ***** awesome! I suppose one good effect of the George W. Bush presidency is that a lot of great music is being created (much like during the Reagan era) as a reaction to his stupidity. If you like your punk punched full of politics without sounding preachy, this is a band for you.” - SLUG Zine

Dirtbag-Wastoid Skum

These guys are from Barstow, California (that shithole of a town you pass through on the way to Vegas from L.A.). They play hardcore punk reminiscent of Gang Green and some AC/DC thrown in for good measure. The music speaks for itself, it's definitely hardcore punk, but they aren't afraid to throw in a cheesy guitar solo every now and then...And believe me, it's cheesy, but it's all in good fun. The lyrics speak about getting wasted and having fun. Nothing political, just fun punk rock to get drunk to. If you were to pass the crown from Gang Green to another band, this would be the band. They are the drunkest (maybe Spitting On Cops is the drunkest, but fuck it) and will always be. Fuck the rest.

Dirtbag-Wastoid Skum:

1. Skum Blues
2. Not Again
3. That's Right

TSOL-Beneath The Shawdows

Here's another great album. This one is by TSOL. It is called Beneath the Shadows. Compared to other TSOL albums, starting off as hardcore punk all the way to hair metal back to hardcore punk, this album is the "what the fuck" of their catalog. It's synth and keyboard driven and very different than anything from that time. It is amazing however...In the age of New Wave, this was like "Fuck You Wave"...

TSOL-Beneath The Shadows:

1. Soft Focus
2. Forever Old
3. She'll Be Saying
4. Beneath The Shadows
5. Send My Thoughts
6. Glass Streets
7. Other Side
8. Walk Alone
9. Wash Away

Extreme Noise Terror-Being And Nothing

Here is Extreme Noise Terror from England. They are a very influential band in both the Crust Punk and Extreme Metal scenes. ENT and Napalm Death both took the politics of Crass and made brutal, fast and insane music that helped create the grindcore genre. This is a recent offering (early 2000s' I think)...This is one of my favorite grindcore records and a must for anyone into Crust, grind, fuck, even you death metal guys will love it...

Extreme Noise Terror-Being And Nothing:

1. Being and Nothing
2. Through Mayhem
3. When Gods Burn
4. Man Made Hell
5. Damage Limitation
6. No Longer As Slaves
7. One Truth One Hate

Spitting On Cops-Cops Should Be Killed

Great band from my home town. Best way to describe them: Slower than D.R.I, faster than Black Flag...Fucking insane music with inane lyrics about stupid shit, but great indeed. They are fat, funny and have a lot to say about a lot of shit that really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. This is just good fucking punk rock. No fucking morals, no dignity, no respect for anything. I like very much.
